OUR CAREER
Las Gravileas has its beginnings, before being an institution as such, in 1980 in the City of Antigua Guatemala, where it began as a small group of dedicated people teaching confectionery, artificial paper flowers, tuza, and cloth to a group of women from San Miguel Escobar. In addition, it provided traveling training in the area of administration and product innovation a female weavers from San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
It is not until 1997 when this group officially consolidates Las Gravileas, and the institution moves to its current headquarters in Santa Catarina Bobadilla, thanks to the Belgian government, who builds classrooms-workshops to teach training courses in different areas.
En 1999 inicia procesos de capacitación itinerante en las aldeas y municipios de Sacatepéquez, conformando las llamadas "Unidades itinerantes de Capacitación" que fueron_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_training subsites, the which increased the number of beneficiaries of the project.
